Vila Prea
is also a restaurant and a tiki-hut on kite beach, both are
open to the public and offer quality and affordable food and drinks.
The restaurant has a eucaliptus structure, hardwood floors
and a carnauba palm leave roof, it is designed to offer the best
views of Prea Beach in a relaxing atmosphere. The 'barraca'
(brazilian tiki-bar) is next to the water, there you will find
fresh juices and natural sandwiches. |
| In November of 2005, "Chef Apolinario" took over the restaurant and he now serves the outstanding food he used to cook in the best
restaurants of Sao Paulo. He says it's even better
now because he lives in a fishing village, so fresh sea-food is always on the menu. He is also proud to talk about the organic vegetable
garden from which he gets his daily salads and many herbs grown
especialy for his dishes. Best of all, you can enjoy first-class
dinning at a third-class price. |

The beach barraca is the kiters hang-out by the water.
This is the place to get out of the sun, take a break from your
sessions and hang out with your friends. Chill in a hammock,
listen to music and enjoy a wild variety of fresh juices, smoothies,
açais, and all natural sandwiches. |

Vila Prea is proud to
be the sponsor of the local capoeira. Twice a week, you will
see the capoeira kids demonstrate the ancient martial art.
They usually train before sunset on Wednesdays, and on Saturdays
they perfom a more formal presentation. You are welcome to
join them in the "roda de capoeira" in front of
the restaurant.
Coming back in June:
"Quarup", the MPB band from Cruz, will be back
at the Vila. Playing every Friday from 8.00 pm 'til later
in the night, their open air concerts of traditional brazilian
music are becoming famous in the area!
